It's not very often when I use this blog to talk about or show something else them my own work, treating this place more like an extension of my portfolio. However I just spent couple of days watching a worksop for photographers prepared by one of my favorite photographers
Sue Bryce and fantastic cinematographer
Hailey Bartholomew. This time more than a professional content, the stories told by them moved me personally and pushed to think about myself, my views and the way I see the world.
No, I'm not gonna break into a philisophical essay here, don't worry! But I want to invite you to watch these two videos, two stories that remind to open your eyes and look carefully around because life is so much better than we think.
Jill is this an amazing and beautiful 35 year old woman who battles cancer. She decided to tell her story to help other women and remind them to be proud of their bodies.
Hailey, who filmed Jill's story started a personal photography project a few years ago, that eventually changed her life and turned into a bit of a global sensation. For 365 days she photographed things she is grateful for, and inspired a lot of people to take a closer look to their every day reality finding beauty in it. Now she makes a film out of stories of different people. You can check out this project on the
official website.
